3 NOLLYWOOD MOVIES TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND
If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, start here
Here’s what I’ve worked on lately. If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, start here:
THE ARTIFACT: THE STONES OF AMINA (Now in cinemas)
We filmed in eight states: Lagos, Osun, Benin, Enugu, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kaduna, and Abuja. Every location was breathtaking, from the sacred and cascading waters of Erin Ijesha to Ngwo Pine Forest, the Jos Museum, and Assop Falls.
Jos was my favorite. The weather was cold (freezing!), but the people made it feel warm. Our colleagues from there joked it wasn’t even that cold. The city feels like home. Nigeria is full of beauty and tourism potential—we must explore it fully.
Synopsis:
Four friends set off to recover stolen artifacts and find themselves in a dangerous chase involving an ex-senator, an art recovery agency, and an international thief.
Directed by Tolu Lord Tanner.
RADIO VOICE (Now in cinemas)
Production management teaches you patience, problem-solving, and how to carry C-stands and cables across Lagos traffic when the generator truck gets stuck. (Yes, that happened.)
We filmed in the heart of Lagos, and despite the chaos, the team spirit made it memorable. Our goal was to make the film, and we did.
Synopsis:
A sex worker becomes the unexpected savior of a failing radio station. It is a story about second chances, purpose, and finding your voice.
Directed by Isioma Osaje. Executive Produced by Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD). Starring RMD, Nancy Isime, Nse Ikpe–Etim, Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, and more.
DECODED (Now streaming on Red TV’s YouTube)
This one is special. It’s a full-circle moment for me.
Fresh out of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) years ago, I visited Suss Productions with my aunt. Something about the space lit a spark, and I said I wanted to work there—and I did.
I started as a Digital Media Strategist and Production Assistant. I worked on Inspector K (I even had a cameo!) and Red on Red, both of which were streamed on Red TV.
Nearly a decade later, I worked as a Co-Producer on Decoded, a TV series now streaming on Red TV.
It’s a reminder of what time and chance, consistency, growth, and good people can do.
Synopsis:
In Lagos, a father and daughter turn to scams to survive. Decoded explores survival, morality, and the unbreakable bond between family—wrapped in hustle, humor, and heart. Directed by Ted Makanjuola. Produced by Nicole Ofoegbu and me.
Every project teaches me something new, and every step forward is a reason to give thanks. Today, I am grateful for my work and the projects I've had the opportunity to serve on.
Please go out and support Nollywood. We’re telling stories that matter. And it only gets better from here.

I’m still here, and maybe that’s enough for now.
